OUR STORY
Recognizing the long-term potential of the city of Porto, Zelije was founded in 2015, with the aim to invest in prime real estate locations, establishing itself as a trusted operator for customers, suppliers and banking partners.
To date, Zelije has acquired and rehabilitated three properties in the city center with plans both to expand these further and acquire new ones.
ZELIJE
The origin of the name
Zelije means 'tile' in arabic and is also the route for the Portuguese word 'azulejo'. In fact, the most famous tiles that typically adorned Porto's facades were first introduced in the Iberian peninsula during the Muslims rule in the 9th-10th century.
